A crowd of over 4,000 witnessed world No1 Adolfo Cambiaso lead Argentina to victory 11-4 in the Evolution Test match in 2006. This year the match will be sponsored by Williams de Bröe following its integration with Evolution Securities.

The match, which was played on an “open” basis denying England a 5 goal handicap advantage saw a new look England team take to the field following injuries to their experienced seven goal players Henry Brett and Luke Tomlinson.

While England’s men missed out, the ladies team produced a fantastic display of team play to overwhelm the ‘Ladies of the Rest of the World’ 9 goals to 4. The Vestey sisters, ably assisted by Victoria Grace and Milly Scott marked their opponents out of the game to win the Horse & Hound trophy for the second successive year.

The fixture this year will once again be the first of England’s home Internationals where they will take on New Zealand. In the second match, England’s ladies will play the 'Rest of the World' in a repeat of last years exciting game.

The event is certain to attract a lot of interest both on and off the pitch, as well as provide first class hospitality opportunities at what is rapidly becoming one of the most glamorous sporting occasions in the West Country.
